JAMF – MacBook Enrollment

JAMF helps manage and secure Apple devices for modern users. It solves IT problems, boosts security, and sets up devices to reduce disruptions. Its Self-Service app catalogue offers resources when needed.

Step 1: Perform macOS Updates

Note: Update your macOS to the latest version before starting this process.

Open System Settings and click General => Software Update. Download and install if you see any available update.

Step 2: Enroll your MacBook

Follow the steps below to enroll your MacBook device in JAMF.

Using Safari, navigate to https://scotch.jamfcloud.com/enroll

Enter your Scotch Global student ID and password.

Select Continue.

Select Allow.

You will see the Profile Download pop-up; click OK and close Safari.

Open system settings and click Profile Downloaded.

Double-click MDM Profile.

Select 'Install' and again 'Install', followed by entering your laptop password.

Type your laptop password and hit Enrol.

Upon completion, profiles will begin to populate on the System Settings Profiles page. You can close System Settings, and within approximately two minutes Self Service+ will automatically appear on your screen.

You can then click Browse and install applications from Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
